Email marketing can be a goldmine, but sending too many emails can turn loyal subscribers into ex-subscribers fast.
So, how do you stay top-of-mind without becoming a nuisance?
Here’s the deal: the right email frequency depends on your audience.
But in general, most DTC brands find the sweet spot between staying visible and avoiding fatigue by emailing around 3-4 times a week.
Overload their inbox, and your unsubscribe rates could skyrocket.
Go quiet, and you risk being forgotten.
The trick is balance—value over volume.
Every email should serve a purpose, whether it’s educating, engaging, or converting.

1️⃣ Start with 2 emails/week. Send one promo, one value-packed. Track opens, clicks, and unsubscribes. Adjust frequency to find the sweet spot that keeps engagement high without overwhelming your list.
2️⃣ Monitor open rates and unsubscribes. If opens drop or unsubscribes jump, you’re emailing too much. Reduce frequency, sharpen content, and test timing to stay relevant without annoying your audience.
