Hey there,
Nathan here from CreativeDTC.
Today’s breakdown: what makes this email from Blume so effective—and how to use these insights to improve your email campaigns.
Plus, I rebuilt this exact template in Figma below—free for you to use, and customize.
Let’s dive in.

🕵️ WHY IT WORKS:
This email grabs attention with bold design, builds trust with clear before-and-after visuals, and inspires action with a strong value proposition. Every element leads the reader from curiosity to making a purchase.
1️⃣ Bold Headline with Savings & Exclusivity
What They Did: Used a bold headline (“NEW! The Ultimate Essentials Bundle”) paired with a clear savings hook (“SAVE 41%”).
Why It Works: Taps into FOMO and value anchoring, showing customers exactly what they’re saving versus spending. This makes the offer feel urgent and exclusive, driving immediate action.
Smart Play: Combine savings with a deadline-driven CTA like “Order by [Date] to Lock In Your 41% Savings.” Test if customers respond better to percentage savings (“SAVE 30%”) or dollar savings (“SAVE $15”).
2️⃣ Visual Before-and-After Proof
What They Did: Highlighted product results with side-by-side before-and-after images, making benefits clear and relatable.
Why It Works: “Seeing is believing.” Visual proof validates claims and builds trust, especially for DTC brands where results matter.
Smart Play: Add social proof like “97% of users saw results in 7 days” alongside visuals. Include timestamps or product use details to make the proof more believable.
3️⃣ Feature-Driven Product Breakdown
What They Did: Listed the bundle contents with specific, benefit-focused descriptions for each item.
Why It Works: Breaks down the value, making the offer feel bigger. This builds perceived value and shows how each item solves a pain point, tackling objections upfront.
Smart Play: Include trust badges like “Doctor-Approved” or “Award-Winning.” Use icons to highlight benefits like “Vegan,” “Cruelty-Free,” or “Eco-Friendly,” so readers can skim and get the key info fast.
